Moody Food is a lively 5 piece ceili band, based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, offering a superb mix of Irish, Scottish and American tunes with just a hint of cajun.
The line up consists of fiddle, mandolin, low whistle, guitar, bass and drums. We work with a number of excellent callers, in particular Sylvia Fisher, and we're ideal for any kind of shindig.
We are vastly experience with over 500 performances. Over 100 can be seen in our blog.
You don't need any experience to join in. The caller talks you through each dance thoroughly before we play. They're skilled at encouraging and guiding beginners and by the end of the night, everyone will be an expert!
